National
Siblings Day is the brainchild of Claudia Evart, who thought up the day as a
way for siblings to honor, recognize and celebrate each other. I have used a Penny Black stamp,
rather aptly named ‘Sisterhood’!
From J & C Creations
Stamp 'Sisterhood' from Penny Black
Papers (double sided)
Flower
Dies used: SB 'Classic Ovals' & 'Floral Ovals' & Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alterations On The Edge 'Brackets'
To Make
Take
a square card blank and using the Tim Holtz 'Brackets' die, cut along
the bottom edge. repeat this with a smaller square of green card and
then again with a smaller square of patterned paper and layer the pieces
onto the card blank. Take a strip of green card the same width as the
card blank and use the die again and one last time on a smaller strip of
different patterned paper and layer up. Add a strip of ribbon across
the middle of the strips and secure on the reverse, glue to your card
blank. Colour your stamped image and glue to a rectangle of green card,
attach using 3d foam. Using the oval dies, cut and layer your sentiment
adding a bow. Add another sentiment layered onto green card along the
edge of your image and finish off with a flower with a brad for the
middle.
