Floral Fantasy with Magnolia!

Good Morning!

I have another card to share with you all today using Floral Papers and of course lot's of Florals! I have used a stamp from an extremely popular brand called Magnolia to make a bright zingy card!

The sentiment is from a birthday sentiment set by Hobbyart which is available from J&C along with the 6x6 Card Blank I have used and the Nestabilities!

A Mother's Day Gift!

Good Morning!
As we all know it will be Mother's Day in the UK on the 10th of March so this week my 2 creations will be based especially on this event! Today I have come up with a tag that you can either give as a Gift or for it's primary function as a Gift Tag!

To start off I have used a regular Manilla #8 Ranger Tag that I covered with a Design Paper and re-punched the hole at the top with my Crop-a-Dile along with adding an eyelet. I have also coloured my chosen image for the card using Copic Ciao Markers.

To build the tag up I have simply mounted my Image onto some Pink Card and repeated this with another piece of Design Paper. I have then added a piece of Cheesecloth in between both layers before sticking the Image down with 3D Foam Tape. Using Distress Ink I stamped a Sentiment that I also mounted onto card which I stuck down just underneath the top corner of the image.

As you can already guess I have finished the tag off by embellishing with Flowers, Ribbon, Dew Drops and a Floral Charm. Each of these have been glued down with Glossy Accents.

Shake It!

Good Morning!

This week my posts will be focusing on Shaker Cards! Usually as soon as some people hear them words they think that its too tricky to do! Well I'm hoping this post will get rid of these thoughts as they are rather quick to make! I was sent some Clear Plastic Domes in Circles & Ovals from J&C Creations that have an adhesive edge for placing on-top of the image on your card that you want to be the shaker part. Simple!

I have used some cute Bear Stamps by LOTV that I think work perfectly seeing they are in a circular design.

Simply stamp and colour where you would like them to be on your card. Once finished place a little pile of glitter over the image, peel off the tape for the adhesive edge on the domes and simply place over the top.

Finish by stamping a sentiment and embellishing the card with dew drops.

I mounted the white card onto some black card as I think it just helps the rest of the design stand out.

Bildmalarna Best Wishes!

Good Morning!

This week we have moved from Heartfelt Creations designs to Bildmalarna! I haven't used these stamps before myself until today but I have to admit they are rather cute! I have used 'Mimosa on the Bench' and you can infact get her in the sale over at the J&C Creations website with 25% off HERE!

To create this card I followed a basic layout and used some old Design Papers by Papermania that I had hidden away for the past couple of years! I have coloured her in using Copic Ciao Markers. For those of you that are interested the metal flower is a bead cap and I have simply stuck it down in the centre of my bow using Ranger Glossy Accents and filling the centre with Liquid Pearls.

A Penny Black Hedgehog Birthday!

Good Morning!

I'd just quickly start off with a little suprise to share with you all that I got on Tuesday ... after posting my Social Butterfly card for you all I found out that Penny Black themselves had featured it on their Facebook page as inspiration!

It's nice to know that one of the big crafting brands out there has popped by our Inspiration Blog isn't it!

Back to today's card and it is featuring something that when you first think of Penny Black is most likely to pop into your mind ... a hedgehog!

 The sentiment is also a stamp by Penny Black. To create the card I simply followed a layout with some floral Design Papers that I thought would work well with the hedgehog. Embellishing as usual once I was happy with everything.

 I'l tell you now that this was my first ever Penny Black stamp when I started card-making 5 years ago .....

 I now have around the 200 mark but in my defence it's because they are all adorable!
