A Ten Card from Natalie

To Make:

Take a piece of card 6" x 12" & fold in half to make a 6" x 6" card blank. Cover the front of the card  by matting & layering plain card & patterned paper. Place a circular die on the card front & secure in place using low tack tape. Run the card through a die-cutting machine & you should end up with a card with a circular aperture. To make the scalloped frame around the aperture, cut a scalloped circle from matching card & then cut out the middle using the same size circle die as before, glue frame in place. Tip - I didn't have any card to match the papers, so I cut out a square of white card and inked the edges with distress ink.
Take a piece of card 4" x 6" and score at 1", 2" & 3" (along the short side). Fold it mountain/valley style & glue the first fold to the back of your card on the inside. Decorate the inside with more matted & layered paper. I have added some snowflakes to the bottom only as the rest won't really show. To do this I used the card left from cutting out the snowflakes as a stencil and sponged some distress ink over the top.
Glue the last fold to the inside of the front of your card & it should now stand up like a tent. Carefully cut out your stamped & coloured image & attach to the card front using silicone glue. Decorate with die cut glittered snowflakes (with brads for the centres), a sentiment & bow. Finish off with some glitter on the girl's hat & ice on the ground.
