Christmas In Bloom!

Good Morning!

This week we have a brand new theme of Christmas in Bloom! The Design Team shall be using Penny Black 2012 Stamps and I decided to use the new Transparent Set - 'A Bright Tomorrow'.

There are so many gorgeous stamps in this set that it was hard to choose which one to use but in the end I used the larger design on the left and the snowflake in the left corner.

I have made a tag for you all today for those of you that enjoy getting a little inky!

To create the background of the tag swipe some Distress Stain all over, spritz with a little water then dry with a heat gun. Using an ink blending tool ink the edges of the tag with Fired Brick Distress Ink then using the same ink pad ink up your snowlfake stamp and use along the side and corners, stamping twice to give you designs with varying ink intensity. 

To create your focal image trim a piece of Distress Core-dinations and distress the edges. Ink up your stamp with white Distress Stain then stamp. I opted for the Distress Stain instead of white embossing powder as I didn't want the image to be too sharp, instead for it to look more similar to a watercolour effect.

Glue down the focal image on an angle with a piece of cheesecloth behind it then embellish the tag with your chosen flowers and embellishments!
