Christmas Brooch

    Good Morning. Today's post is another brooch made with a fizzy drinks can but with a Christmas feel to it. You will need two cans for this flower.
    The flower is cut out with a Sizzix Bigz die - Tattered Poinsettia. I have cut two of the largest petal set, one medium, one small and one centre.
    The two smallest are coloured with Alcohol Ink Red Pepper, one large set with Red Pepper and a mix of Lettuce, Meadow and Pesto. The last large set is just with the greens.
    The centre is coloured with a mixture of Butterscotch and Gold Mixative as is the silver brad used to hold it all together. Again I have die cut, in felt, a small flower to go on the back after sewing a brooch back to it.
    I have left the petals smooth on this occasion but I'll try another with embossed petals next time I think. Recycled art work is proving popular at the moment, especially jewellery, so have a go and see what you can come up with.
