Hug A Friend Day – 26th April

26th of April is celebrated each year to cherish the feelings of love and understanding among friends.

Hug a friend day is rejoiced with enthusiasm and affection, especially among the youth. For those people who are in struggling phases of their lives, having piles of official work and other businesses, this day provides an excuse to let their old pals know that you still love and care for them. Think about the difference that a single hug would make to your friend’s day or even life, and go on to spend this commendable day with your friends. You don’t have to think hard to do something special to celebrate, just hug your friends.

To Make:

Take a square card blank and cut the left hand panel diagonally from the top right corner to the bottom left corner to form a triangular front flap. Cover the front and back of the flap together with the inside square with card and patterned papers. Wrap a length of ribbon around the left hand side of the card and make a bow. Glue your stamped and coloured image to matching card cut with the ‘Heart Circle’ die and attach to the front flap with 3d foam tape. Remember to only place the tape on the part of the image which will cover the front flap. Add a tag, corner die-cut and flower to the front. Finish off by cutting a circle from matching card and gluing it to the inside square panel.
