Raising a Snowflake

Hi Everyone

Sue here

This week we have been looking at Spellbinders and inks.

Today I'm showing you how to do a stencil and emboss to get the above effect on your projects.

Firstly, get a piece of copy paper and run it through your big shot with the snowflake die from spellbinders 2010 snowflake in the middle.

Take the die cut out so you have the stencil aperture and tack this onto a piece of white cardstock.

Ink through the stencil with broken china distress ink then get a background stamp ( I chose some little dots) and stamp through the stencil with faded jeans distress ink.

I then put the cardstock through the big shot again and ONLY embossed the snowflake twice on the card, overlapping the stencil snowflake.  I then inked around the edges of the card, and stamped a sentiment from the Penny Black Transparency range  winter wonders 'have a fashionable christmas.'

Hope you find time for a little crafting this week

Sue
