Hi Everyone, today we have a fabulous card designed by our talented DT Member Sue. Sue has used some fantastic techniques on this card, why not give them a try and send us pictures of your creations.
I have incorporated 'Bird Branch' and 'Wonderful Wings' Grand Shapabilities. Don't forget that the butterflies are not huge and will go through any die cutting machine, there are 5 backs and 5 fronts with umpteen possibilities.
I started with a tree mask and sprayed with 'colourwash' sprays into a plastic box.
I then used the triple embossing technique with WOW Clear Matt Dull embossing powder (layer the embossing powder 3 times). When cool, bend the picture backwards and forwards, to create crease lines and an oldie worldie look. Rub walnut stain distress ink over the top and buff up. The ink will stay in the cracks.

Next, take the plastic box with the excess spray inside and dip white card stock in the ink to mop it up. Leave to dry.
Die cut the 2 parts of the butterfly from the dipped card.
Stamp a sentiment out in cream card.
Put the card together and add jewels.
Happy Crafting
All highlighted items can be purchased from the J & C website.
