Penny Black–Tag by Sue

Windy Day – by Dt member Sue

Hi Everyone, today we have a fabulous Tag created by our Dt member Sue, I thought this wonderful tag with its bright colours would brighten up your day.
Items Used
A tag made from thick card
Selection of H20's
Penny Black stamps:
an afternoon 3877K
wind caressed 3818J
flying stars 3636K  (all wood mounted)
Embossing powders
Versamark ink and pen
White marker pen
Antistatic bag
Embellishments
Ribbon
Heat gun
1. Wet the tag with water and let it soak in for a minute.
2. Put different colours of H2O's onto the wet tag, the colour feathers into each other.  Once happy with the colour options, heat dry with a heat gun or leave overnight.
3. Take your antistatic bag and run over the tag.  Take the  'an afternoon' stamp and ink up only the flowers in the bottom right corner with the versamark pen. Stamp this 2 times along the bottom and sprinkle gold embossing powder over this and heat set.
4. Take the same stamp and ink up the single flower to the left on the stamp.  Stamp this once, with versamark on the left of the tag and use a different colour of brown embossing powder.  Heat set.
5. Take the 'wind caressed' stamp and ink with versamark.  Stamp this higher than the other flowers.  Take your versamark pen and extend the stalk of the flowers to the bottom of the tag as it will fall short when you stamp the flowers.  Sprinkle with another brown embossing powder.  Heat set.
6. Take you white pen and colour in the flowers from the 'wind caressed' stamp. Take your pen and stamp in versamark, the dragonflies from 'an afternoon' and heat emboss with black embossing powder.
7. Stamp the 'flying stars' in versamark on each side of the tag.  Half on one side, half on the other. Use black embossing powder and heat set.
8. Take an old dictionary and cut out some definitions.  I used, create and aspire. Colour these with H2O's. Glue on at the top and one at the bottom of the tag.
9. Add embellishments and ribbon.  I found a buckle I have had for ages and put this over the 'create' word.

Happy Crafting All xx
