Penny Black Party Gang –  Rocky 

The Party Gang have arrived. This Penny Black stamp is great as it can be used for any celebration not just birthdays. This image was stamped with Archival Black and coloured in with watercolour pencils. I have used a grey Promarker to give shadow under the gang's feet.
The backing paper is from my stash, I think it's been around for a couple of years. There's only so long you can keep papers you like the look of before you need another cupboard, so I have decided to use them and move on (got to make room for more!!).
Because the green was so nice and bright I chose to use it as the theme to bring it all together.

The corners of the image layer have been clipped with a Punch. The rosette is a Sizzix die, this one is the smallest size. The Balloons #2 is also a Sizzix die. The little highlight piece comes out so I put tape on the back and filled the hole with glitter to make it sparkle, then a small length of Bakers Twine was used to make the strings with a little dab of Cosmic Shimmer dries clear glue on the cats paw to hold it in place. A couple of foam pads on the back of the balloons give them the illusion of flight and ballance opposite the rosette.
I have used a black card for the base as it went so well with the backing paper, it just didn't look right on white.
