Moroccan Dream
Today we have a card designed by our DT member Pauline using products from J & C Creations
Pauline has used some really unusual colours and I am sure you will agree they make a stunning card.
Items used:
Spellbinders:
Shapeabilities Bitty Blossoms (S5-086),
Shapeabilities Moroccan Accents (S5-084) and Moroccan Motifs (S5-065),
Edgeabilities Classic Edges Two (E8-008) and Classic Decorative Inserts Two (E8-010)
First Edition Dreamcatcher 6x6 paper pad
Purple vellum
Narrow ribbon
Using paper from Dreamcatcher, Edge C from Classic Edges Two and Insert A from Classic Decorative Inserts Two, cut the edge of the paper from Dreamcatcher. Then recut to make the border using the same Edge C but reverse it so the “point” is the opposite way round giving a border with the “points” all facing outwards. Run some ribbon through the holes, attach to the card and add a bow.
Using elements from Moroccan Motifs and Moroccan Accents, make the central motif, I used iridescent vellum. Add a central brad and some gems.
Cut 3 large Bitty Blossoms flowers and 3 small ones with the same vellum and a pair of green leaves. Add some pearls to the centres of the large flowers and attach to the card. Thank you Pauline this is a stunning card.
Don’t forget if you are going to The Stich & Creative Crafts Show at Shepton Mallet from 26th – 29th April pop over the the J & C Creations Stand where LisaB will be demonstrating lots of new products.
