Beautiful Butterflies

Good afternoon, today I have a couple of cards for you using the Beautiful Marianne Design Butterfly Die.

These are first efforts by Myself and Lin using the Die and also the Fantastic Stampendous Products and Heartfelt Designs Stamps and Dies.  The website is being updates so I cannot link back the products but if you would like to get your hands on all this deliciousness you can still telephone an order on 01622 729154, where the girls are really helpful and would be pleased to help you.

This card has been made by Lin, I know you will agree with me a fantastic first effort, and a completely different style for her.

Lin has used the beautiful Marianne Butterfly Die and used Silver Halo Mix Glitter around the edges, she has also used the Glitter down the side of the card and on the edges and middle of her flowers, The flowers are Prima Craftable Flowers in Small and Medium Size, these flowers start out white and you can colour them with any medium you like, Lin has used Copics to colour hers.  The flowers come in packs of Small, Medium and Large and each set contains a mixture of different shaped flowers.

Sorry there are no close ups Lin just sent me this picture.

This is my first effort, I got rather glitter happy on this one, will have to try to control myself.
I stamped the Turquoise card with Heartfelt Creations Daisy Patch Flower Stamps (3rd Largest Daisy, there are 5 stamps in the set all mounted and precut for £10 good value I am sure you will agree) with clear embossing powder then embossed them with WOW Clear Hologram Regular embossing powder.

The I repeated this a couple of times on white card,  then stamped another of the same sized daisy and 2 of the smallest stamp with Broken China Distress Ink and again embossed with the same embossing powder.

The flowers are the four largest sized daisies and coloured with Copics, then cut out with the matching Heartfelt Designs Dies (Made by Spellbinders so no need to tell you about the quality of them). Then I added Stampendous Aged Aqua Embossing Enamel melted with my heat gun, finally I added Silver Halo Mix Glitter to the edges.  The middle of the flowers are made doubly sparkly with Steel Blue Crushed Glass Glitter.

And here is that beautiful Butterfly from Marianne Designs, he has been edged with Broken China Distress Ink and lots and lots of Silver Halo Glitter, all the products listed are available from J & C Creations.

Hope you enjoyed looking at our first attempts at this style of crafting and it has given you inspiration to try something different.  Don’t forget all the website is being worked on you can still order over the telephone.

Hugs
