Happy Valentines Day to everyone.
Brrrrr, roll on summer!
Is anyone else feeling the cold like I am, still a good day to snuggle up with your loved one and keep warm?
Can I say a big thank you from all of us, to all the ladies and gents of course that came and visited and supported our stand at Manchester show. It was lovely to see so many faces.
Denise, Karen and I certainly enjoyed your Trafford Centre. A great place to eat with so many fab restaurants!
As promised I have posted some of the card samples that you watched me make at the show to give those of you that bought the dies and did not have a camera with you at the show, a little reminder and inspiration on what I did with the dies.
I am really in to the Kraft colour and vintage at the moment so they are based around this colour scheme......
The dies I used for this one were: Spellbinders Grand Circle Nestabilities and Spellbinders Grand Peonie Creations for the flowers......
Here's a close up of the flowers....
I was thinking of our Julie when I made this one, she loves animal prints.
Julie had put some beautiful May Arts ribbon in for us to play with which gave me great inspiration. I used a strip of it to distress through to give a great animal print design.
I have used the same dies for this card but made a 3D flower this time and the petals I cut away I used for the other flower bud.
The Grand Peonie is such a versatile die....
Here's a closer look at the flower....
This next one is using the dies: Marianne Creatables Bird Cage and Bird of Paradise. I have cut two layers of the bird cage and embossed and distressed it and then de-coupaged it....
And what a apt card for today "Valentines Day". For this one I have used the Sizzix Tim Holts Tattered Florals, Marianne Creatables Key and the Nellie Snellen multi Heart dies....
Not a card this time but a wall hanging.
For this one I have used the Spellbinders Nested Pennants and Lacey Pennants and the Sizzix Tim Holts Alterations Paper Rosette, one of my favourites....
A close up of that rosette flower....
Well that's all from me for now.
Hopefully we will see a lot of you at Sincerely Yours show at Coventry this weekend 19th February.
So come along and say Hi if you are attending.
Wrap up and keep warm.
Hugs
